The Blue House Café offers homemade wholesome food, baked goods and specialty coffees in a cozy atmosphere. We serve breakfast and lunch all day, every day, with a menu of American and international vegetarian cuisine made with local and organic ingredients. Local musicians perform here Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons.

We feature organic fair trade Indigo Coffee roasted in Florence, Mapleline Farm milk from Hadley, free range eggs from Thomas Farm in Sunderland, and organic greens and spinach year round from Red Fire Farm in Granby — you can purchase these and other ingredients as groceries at the café.

Our commitment to sustainability reaches all aspects of our business. Most obvious is our emphasis on local and organic ingredients. We also use biodegradable to-go containers, we’ve phased out plastic wherever feasible, we avoid products with excess packaging, and we recycle and compost whatever we can. To reduce the use of disposable cups, we offer a big discount when you use your own travel mug.

We’re half a mile west of the Northampton border, on Route 9, with parking in back.
